Do you divide your wardrobe into work and non-work clothes?
If you do, it can be easy to get in a style rut when you think of certain items from your closet as work-only or lifestyle categories.
To build a more versatile wardrobe, I encourage you to think of your wardrobe as one cohesive closet reflecting your style that serves your lifestyle based on ALL the hats you wear.
Here’s why this is important:
- Your personal style should reflect who you are both at work and non-work (we’ll be talking so much more about this over the coming weeks!).
- You’ll feel more like yourself when dressing for work and non-work.
- You’ll increase your cost-per-wear on certain items to really maximize the wear of your wardrobe (i.e. less is more)
- You’ll feel more pulled together in your weekend outfits when you mix in some pieces you would traditionally only wear to work.
In this series, I want to show you how easy it is to wear the same piece for business and pleasure.
Here are 4 outfit examples of styling one blazer multiple ways based on your work to weekend plans.
